Nexus Tribe - Sixth Annual Gathering!

The location for the Nexus sixth annual gathering was a pleasant surprise as it was held in Millet (some 50 Km outside Edmonton) under heated tents giving it both an indoor and outdoor feel. Warm fall sunshine glinted off the tops of the massive white tents set in neatly mowed farmers fields with wooded edges. This event had the great feel of an outdoor party but indoors.... grass for a dance floor yet with the white tenting above forming a great surface on which to project lighting patterns and laser graphics. An entire miniature city powered by it's own generators greeted partiers. Pathways were lit with flaming patio torches and a 4 story high inflatable figure danced and swayed near the water tent.
The music was excellent in the main arena tent despite the no-show by headliner DJ Micro. The airlines lost his records during a change of planes in Texas and he was unable to play. None the less, Nexus Tribe and Nicky Miago put on a great party!
